We are looking for a Help Desk Specialist with 2-3 years in IT Support that enjoys tinkering with tech, likes to learn, works well in a collaborative environment, and ideally (not required) has a manufacturing background. Please apply if this sounds like you! Position is 100% onsite in Brownsville.
Duration: 4+ months contract with strong chance of extension & possible hire in the future
Hours: 7:30am-4:15pm shift - 5/days week onsite

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deskside support, assisting employees on the plant floor with IT issues (hardware/software).
- Install new PCs and upgrade software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues for 650 employees (200 on email, 300 with computers).
- Assist with vendor communications for equipment repair.
- Participate in 24/7 rotational helpdesk support.
- Support intra-office moves and provide basic systems training.
- Ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
Must-Haves:
- 2-3 years of PC experience.
- Familiarity with Office 365, troubleshooting, and basic Windows operations.
- Experience with network drives and printer installations.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment.
- Experience with phone systems is a plus.
